About My Photo I Turned into Canvas Art

I was searching for a Retirement Gift for my husband when I came across a painting I thought he might like! The problem was the painting was incorrect! My husband was retiring after 35+ years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and his uniform is a very important part of that service, known worldwide. This painting was of the uniform across a chair as if it had been taken off at the end of the day and slung there! They had used the wrong pants and it was the wrong rank for him. So with that idea in mind I set about trying to take a picture ( similar idea) myself and find a person to paint it. Our daughter was getting married this summer to a Member of the RCMP as well, so my husband put off retirement to give her away in his uniform. (a Red Serge Wedding) I knew I could probably get the picture, as his uniform would be all out and ready to go, so over the course of the summer I took many shots when I could. I found a person to paint the picture but was going to be a very long wait for this to happen probably a few years!!! So when another friend told me that another option would be to have it printed on canvas and brushstrokes added, an idea came to mind and another search was on! I tried to find somewhere near my home to have this done, with no luck! So I turned to the internet! I put in the key words on Google and up came your site! I checked into a few other sites but after a thorough reading through of yours and checking safety features for using my VISA ..I went ahead and ordered! I am soooo glad I did! It was beautiful! I even asked for suggestions from you as to the background and you e-mailed right back and helped immensely…. My husband was thrilled with it! He even got a little misty over it!
