About My Photo I Turned into Canvas Art

This is a photograph that I took of my wife in the summer of 2003. She passed away suddenly at the age of 51, and I needed to have a nice picture of her to put over my fireplace in the library. She never would have agreed to have her picture displayed in this way (she was very modest), but it is a great comfort to me to have her presence with me. The picture itself was a wonderful one, because I told her to look at me and tell me with her eyes how much she loves me. I got a wonderful picture and memory that I wanted to keep in a way that was better than just a photo enlargement.

My Experience with Canvas On Demand

I called Canvas On Demand after reading about them in MacWorld, where they were rated the best. I needed to have moderate re-touching done, and wanted a photo-realistic canvas. I was amazed at the quality and the price. I will certainly be having more canvases done based on the quality of this one. Now I will get it framed, and ironically, the frame and matting will probably cost me more than the canvas. The work was brilliant and I have already recommended Canvas on Demand to many of my friends.
