About My Photo I Turned into Canvas Art
The photo is of my daughter, at 5 weeks, in my husband's hands. It was taken by my cousins (who specialize in children's photography) after a family event, which makes the photo even more meaningful. Our daughter, Penelope, is now 18 months old; this was a gift for her father's 40th birthday. I know he's received some very cool stuff over the years, but he said this was the best gift he had ever been given. I think he was moved by both the subject and the dramatic effect that the photo has by being enlarged on the canvas.
